My first art show after the pandemic was at State Line distillery. I invited people from many different spheres of my life to hang out for an evening, and it was really cool to see everyone interacting. A surprising amount of people knew each other and were happily surprised to see each other and reconnect.
The artwork that I shared at this reception was the result of innumerable hours of finding and photographing birds in Madison and Middleton, and then painting them in acrylic and watercolor. It was somewhat of a public launch of my watercoloring kit.
There are some things that I need to develop and refine, such as my graphics and signage. It is also why I am currrently rebuilding my website, so that people have a place to learn more and get in touch.
